Primary Maps:
-
GBrowse .. Generic Genome Browser for Annotated Genomes
graphical displays of sequence-mapped features of the genomes
- Annotated Genome - Apollo
a Java application to download and run locally
- CytoSearch
create and download regional maps (non-graphical) based on
cytological range, sequence range or gene range
- Older Cytological maps
graphical displays of both sequence- and cytologically-mapped features

Historical
- Fruit flies in your Java folder [08-Oct-04]: a Java mapplet
for Drosophila genome map browsing.
D.G. Gilbert, February 1996
This is a "mapplet", or map of fruit fly genes, aberrations, and clones,
created with Java. It displays genes on a chromosome map, and
lets you fetch reports on each gene.
Though this is primarily of historical interest, as one of the
first java applets published in bioinformatics (February 1996, shortly
after Java was published), it still works
and uses current data (as of June 2000).
- Old map data folder [14-Jun-02]
including Cytological table data from 1994
txt [28-Jul-94]
and Kilobase table
doc [12-Feb-98],
txt [12-Feb-98]
with inferred kilobase map position made prior to genome sequence availability
- Graphical map data folder [03-Sep-03]
.. data used to generate graphical maps (older version of gnomap data)
- Data from Lindsley and Zimm ('Redbook', 1993) folder [29-Oct-96]
