12 Drosophila Genomes Resource Page

Groups at UC Berkeley and LBNL have put together a public resource page for the Assembly, Alignment, and Annotation of the 12 Drosophila genomes that are currently being sequenced at:

http://rana.lbl.gov/drosophila/multipleflies.html

This page is for all Drosophilists and comparative groups who are interested in comparative bioinformatics analysis & experimental follow up of the 12+ Drosophila genomes. It aims to provide a central site to locate the sequence and trace data needed to proceed. This page will also provide access to tools for comparative analysis.

If you have a public resource that will help this project, a group you'd like linked to the page, or suggestions on how to improve this site, please e-mail:

multiple@fruitfly.org

Please pass this message along to others who might be interested.

Many thanks!
